The CM Punjab Rozgar Scheme is a significant socio-economic initiative by the Punjab Government aimed at empowering unemployed youth, women, and small business owners by providing affordable loans. Its core mission is to reduce unemployment and promote self-employment by giving low-interest or subsidized credit, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs to start or expand businesses without bearing excessive financial burden. Through this scheme, individuals with viable business ideas but limited capital can access necessary funding. Consequently, this not only fosters personal economic empowerment for beneficiaries but also stimulates the local economy, strengthening Punjab’s economic base and contributing to broader social.

Benefits & Opportunities

For youth and unemployed individuals, it provides an opportunity for employment — a pathway to start their own business and create jobs.
